NPOwer NGO Conference "It takes (more than) Two to Tango"

Four local organizations will present funding opportunities for local Non-Profits in a very short 5 to 10 minute presentation. They will explain who they are, what they do and what type of funding, grants or donations are available.  
The organizations in alphabetical order are:

1. Be the Change Foundation
2. Prins Bernard Cultuurfonds
3. Samenwerkende Fondsen
4. St. Maarten Development Fund

The workshop which will be provided by SOAB will provide you with information and useful tips on the following;
- Financial planning and budgeting
- Financial Administration
- Internal Controls
- Financial reporting

On November 19, 2019 Book 2 of the Civil Code has been amended. Part of the amendments concern implementations of recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), an intergovernmental organization, established to combat money laundering. The amendments have a significant impact on your Foundation or Association with respect to the obligation to publish annual reports and annual statements.
